San Benito High School Teledramatic Art: Thinking about Values and Video

The message of this video is to go and be patient and to be understanding. The actions that communicate the message in this video are the little boy not knowing that he is not supposed to go and walk on the wet cement that the guy had just layed out. The guy looks upset but instead of getting mad and yelling at the child he helps walk him home. The filmmaker created a sort of upsetting hard working mood for the video and when the child went and walked on the cement on his way home from school. The child had an innocent confused look on his face and the worker does not look too nice, but he has a change of heart and realizes that the child doesn't know any better. The angle of the camera that was the boy had the camera above him in a way that made him look innocent and the man had it from below even though he was on the ground so he looked a bit superior. When they walked home is showed what a great guy the man was to not only not get mad at the child, but also to be able to walk the little boy home.

my introduction

This is not me this is lizzy because she was my partner and because my video was not able to be edited. The complications that we had with our video was that we couldn't figure out how to upload that video also we spent a lot of time trying to edit the video. The skills that i have learned were how to upload a video to you tube and to my blog sucessfully. Also i learned how to use premire pro. The thing that I love best about the final product is that it is very direct and it is simple. Also that we were finally sucessfull at posting the video on youtube. The thing that i would like to learn for the next video would be how to work the lighting and how to decorate the video. My partner helped me a lot such as calming me down and assuring me that we can finish this viedo and b sucessful.i helped my partner by helping Lizzy edit her video. The thing that helped me figure out the skil was to ask the teacher and he helped me better understand what was going on and also guessing and playing around with the computer a little to go and figue out things on my own so that way i can remember to do that for next time. I have overcome my challenges of uploading the right videoto youtube and to my blog.

My Groups Value Reflection

Today is Aug. 19,

      The video that we picked as a group was "The Cafeteria." The reason why we decided to use this video was because it showed a strong message of reaching out to others in there time of need which we believed was one of the strongest messages that a person can pass on. Also another message that can be passed on by this video is that you shouldn't care about what others have to say as long as your doing the rite thing. The different camera angles and the video really helped to capture the attention of the viewer because it makes you feel like you are in a state of confusion. I makes you believe that the world around you is moving fast and that you are almost lost in some sense. Aso something that we noticed was that there were facial expressions of the girls sitting at the table that showed that they were not nice people. Te birds eye view of the way the cafeteria was set up also helped show that there are different cliques and that the students don't seem to beto used to making friends outside of there circles. the music also played a big role in the video because it set the mood of how you shouldn't let others get to you there are better things out there for you. the light shined on the girl when she walked over to the other girl to sit with her almost as if she was an angel. in conclusion this video was one of the best because it had a lotof meaning and value also it had a lot of detail an different techniques that helped create this video and make it so eye caching.
